Getting sleeping bag and mat at Glasto

Prob a silly question but as I am flying with Ryanair to Bristol I have to limit how much stuff I can bring. My sleeping bag is taking up too room in my carry on bag so I was thinking of just getting a sleeping bag and mat at the festival.

I know I could order this online (e.g Millets) and collect it on site. However, I dont have a credit card and my debit card isnt recognised on UK sites so is it possible to just buy these things when I get there?

Im sure it is and I fell a bit of a fool for asking but it is my first time there and I just want to make sure.

Cheers.

DOnt worry one jot my friend.

I was at Download last weekend and tbh, the festy prices for camping gear seem to have really come down this year. There are some real bargains to be had even on site.

You WONT have any problem buying sleeping bags and so on. May I recommend Cozy Campers and if you keep your eyes peeled there is a stall or two selling fleece sleeping bags. (Ut may even be Cozy Camper).

Anyhoo, you'll be fine.

Save your luggage carrying for BOOZE!

Thanks everybody for the replies. More room in my case for booze so. Getting really excited for my first Glastonbury now. I think this is the first time ever that I want the weekend to go in very quickly so I am that bit nearer to getting on that flight B)

Cosy Camper often have a big banner saying "FestivalKit.co.uk" on their stalls.

To be honest, do you need a sleeping bag? Last year I bought a pair blankets on site (£10 all in) and used my silk sleeping bag liner and it did me fine.

As those were good blankets (I took 'em home with me), i'll be doing that again this year as I'll be needing more for at home.

The blankets were good quality and quite soft from some fairy/tinsel/sparkly stall oposite holts field rather than rough and ready ex army ones from Joe bannanas.
