I was moaning on last.fm that i didn't have anyone to go End of the road festival with (my friends are going Bestival/are just not rad enough) and someone pointed out that they have a campsite for people going alone. I've been looking on the website for any details on this but I haven't found any, maybe i'm just silly?

This will be my first year going to End of the road and the first time i've gone to a festival alone, so this campsite sounded really ideal. Are they doing it this year?

Or better yet, does anyone mind if I camp with them? I am really good at adventures and super charming and a badass dancer. I promise!

At End Of The Road you'll have lot's of fun on your own, I also went alone last year and it was probably the best festival I've ever been to. Everyone is so nice and friendly there. :)

I should say that it's not an official campsite - it's something I did with a few guys at latitude a few years back - as a result I brought it across to EOTR, first time was 2007 or 8, I forget. Anyway, there was about 30 of us last year and it is great to have a few folks to chat with, get recommendations from, can be a fantastic giggle!

How strict is the 'lone' bit of this idea? I'm coming with my husband and we're used to going to Glasto with loads of mates. Although we're more than happy with each others' company (thankfully!), it would be lovely to have others to meet and camp with and share the experience.

Strange glitches? Have you been putting dodgy pics on your profile? :unsure: Aare you going to do an "official directions" to your bent flagpole again??? I was wondering if I could have a job making signs and bunting to put a proper space/"do not put your tent here" area for late night drinking sitting around a very small lamp activities etc :blink:
