gizmoman
After a break of a couple of years I was surprised to see this Glasto regular reinstated, I think they were banned for extreme religious views (either anti semite or anti islam I forget which!) but there didn't seem to be much of a difference this time. Anyone know the story?

gizmoman
Think they were telling porkies! My link There was a big discussion at the time (may have been on another board) about whether it was right to ban them or not. Looking at that article it seems it was a mean fiddler decision (at least as far as Reading was concerned) maybe they approached Eavis and he overruled the ban? jameshunt
They claimed that people had an issue with their message, but that was 10 years ago. Supposedly the crew that set up their cabin was working in eastern Europe for the past couple of years. Not sure that is the complete story, but it is what their main guy told me. LusciousLucy
I have no issues with them whatsoever. From meeting them in Australia and many CG cafe visits at the G, having long lovely chats with them and read some of the literature, from what I gather, they are Old Testament worshippers. The anti-semitism was taken out of context as far as I am aware. The only issue I witnessed was the somewhat slight oppression of the women. It's a very male oriented society. But they make bloody awesome pancakes!

Stocky Jesus
Whatever the reason it was great to have them back. I've missed their hospitality the last couple of years. There's no place better at 3am for a chilled out coffee.

nicktrow
Are these the guys that had loads of Bob Dylan quotes in their religious pamphlets?
