in for a disappointment?

ive just watched a few videos online of them playing bonnaroo and it looks terrible! no stage presence and it sounds very flat of course it could be different actually being there, but look at the crowd, no movement at all, looks depressing to be honest

i wish they were headlining the other day because i would definitely watch prodigy instead, kol werent great at v08 and i heard that they bombed at reading.

hoping for something more, but it looks unlikely... i like there music aswell, they just seem like there going through the motions.

Completely agree, they were poor in 2008, great albums poor live, boring. I'll be watching them as my mates love them.

I'm hoping they'll be better than 2008.

i thought they would pretty good in 08 when i saw em.

latest album was very poor if u ask me, 1 or 2 decent songs, closer and crawl come to mind.

i really hope they play a lot of their early stuff as its so much better!

Kings of Leon haven't been great live since 2007, I was hoping after their break they might be back up for it again.

2007 they seemed amazing at Reading and them I saw them on tour and there were bloody amazing, then I saw saw them 3 times in 2008 at TITP, V and on tour and they just weren't the same band they got worse as the year went on.

Who knows eh? They may play a blinder at V, hope so!

Im not a fan of KOL myself. Really like a few of their tunes (mainly older stuff) but I think they're massively over rated and have acheived their current status on the back of 2 chav-adopted tunes. Saturday headliner time was looking pretty grim for me until the Charlatans were anounced as union headliner...now im happy. Not had a prob like that since '04 when after the awesome pixies i didnt like any headliner... i ended up in that new bands tent that night and discovered the delays

I saw KOL at Reading Festival last year, lets just say they were Disappointing, i hope they put on a better show at V.

I don't think they'll be disappointing. I already know they're shit so i'll not have high expectations in the first place.
