I also have odd music taste. I took my bro to see Rammstein in February and we got bored of Radio one. So I said to him and his mate to have a look through the mass of cd's in my car and put something on cus I was driving.

Oh the grief I got. He basically said I had the most ridiculous catalogue ever. He didn't understand how I could have Lady Gaga, Slipknot, Mika, Eminem, Shakira, Foo Fighters, GnR and SOAD in the same case! I see no problem with it!

unfortunately not, him as in h.i.m. second time though since they were replacing avenged sevenfold they got sandwiched inbetween machine head and metallica. People were throwing their £5 hotdogs at the band and chanting f**k off, anyone who was there knows what i'm on about, it was pretty damn ruthless.

I always have my emergency cd for when arguments ensue in the car. Get on the wrong side of me and be prepared for 80 minutes of BARRY MANILOW!

I've got all sorts on my ipod, so it depends who's in the car as to what I'll put on. My rock mates get treated to a bit of house & garage, and if I'm really pi**ed off with them I'll add a bit of R&B to that as well. The dance ones get the rock, obviously. Motorhead is usually a good choice.

Mostly everyone I know hates Slipknot so they hate being in my car even before they start arguments! I wouldnt cause an argument in your car cus if I was subjected to House music I'd kill someone!!!

Anyone been to see this tour yet? Went to Brum NIA last night. It was pretty much sold out save for about 40 seats at the back. We Missed Hell Yeah but we wanted to get a few pints in before the gig that were not 'pull my trousers down' prices.

Avenged were on first. Great stage set up, (graveyard theme, fire) sound was perfect. Set list was solid if leaning a bit too much towards the newer stuff. A few more older classics would have gone down much better than the soppy new shit. But a band member passing away is going to change your perspective on things a bit I guess. Listening to the crowd demands for 'Bat Country' to end on over 'Almost Easy' was also a good call.

Stone Sour headlined Brum. More of a minimal stage set up, but what they lacked with props they made up for with energy and tunes. Stone Sour were also on top form tonight, '3030/150', 'reborn' and 'mission statement' being highlights. Corey is pretty much the perfect rock front man (M Shadows isn't too far off either but Sunglasses indoors will always lose you points) Some good glitter cannons at the end too.

Miss this tour at your peril!

P.S. How did they cram all the stage set up into the Manchester Academy?!!

Corey has just confirmed on twitter that Stone Sour already have plans to return to the UK AND Ireland next year.

So from that Im guessing TITP and Oxegen and Sonisphere.

StoneSour were amazing last night in Newcastle. I met the band and spoke with Corey and Josh and they will definately not be playing Donington in 2011, but will be playing at least 1 other festval - still being finalised at the mo.
