Solfest beer and chips

I'm sure I read a review that said chips were £1 and beer was £2.50 a pint??? If this is really true I may be able to persuade my other half to go as well?

At Solfest we always try to price things like that at a level which is comparable to local retailers who sell the same thing, so for example, our beer is priced the same as it is in the local pub (about £2.60 for a pint of real ale, larger or real cider), our chips are the same price you would pay for a bag of chips in the chip shop down the road etc.

I always think that no matter how good a festival is musically, it still leaves a bitter taste if you get charged £4 for a can of lager, and really there's no need for it, all you are doing is blatantly ripping off your punters, and at Solfest we love our punters!
