He was voted number 3 by C4 viewers in the Top 100 ever!! Peter Kay was number 6, McIntyre was number 9 and Jimmy Carr was number 11. George Carlin was number 28! And Sam Kinison wasnt in the top 100 at all. Good to see the comedy market is as f**ked up as the music industry.

The ending to the Office is one of the most genuinely happy endings of all time, because it was hugely vindicating and above all, about truth. Again, Gervais and Merchant proved their class in that they both fully understand that comedy isn't actually about witty gags and deliverring punchlines; the key to great comedy is really about truth.
