First Time, Day Ticket

Me and my cousin are heading down to Leeds for the first time but only for the Friday. Got my accomodation and travel to and from Leeds sorted but it's the getting to and from the festival to the city centre that's bugging me. Anyone know the easiest way to get to the festival from the city centre? And are you allowed to take booze into the arena or are they money-grabbers like T and make you queue for a token to get your beers in?

Your best bet is to start from leeds station and get the shuttle bus straight to the festival, think it's about £8.50 return and you can just pay as you get on. Or get a taxi and split it between the two of you?

And no your not allowed to take any alcohol into the main arena which is a shame but you can sneak a few cans in easily enough. I think it's cash at the bars too instead of tokens but I could be mistaken?
