Any ideas who it could be?

btw that would mean theres 11 acts in the arena that day, as well as 11 acts on 4music, but the other day just has 10 acts on both 4 music and the Arena stage, so maybe we are getting another act on each of those stages too???

I wouldn't be surprised if they get another pop act on to replace all those who wanted to see Cheryl. Afterall, 95% of the Arena is pure pop anyway. My guess (regrettably) would be Scissor Scistors. Or possibly Kylie?

and Kylie has a big tour coming up, so will be focusing on that, think she's done V once and thats enough for her.

Ian Brown usually plays the Arena, shocked he ain't back this year, but I wouldn't read much into that, I think they'll announce it in advance, a surprise would mean like find out on the day IMO

Some great shouts here, Orbital, Richard Ashcroft and United Nations of Sound, Vampire weekend, would love to see any of those.

Could be Mumford & Sons, they headlined the similar stage at TITP.

Still amazes me that V, and most people, don't consider Groove Armada headliners!!!

All i can say is, Cheryl Cole got off lightly, as whoever has to follow them will always struggle, and anyone who has seen them live will vouch for me.

In my (relatively) short life I have been to almost 30 festivals (including 12 V's) god knows how many gigs, and there are few better I've seen live than Groove Armada.

But I guess that's just V!

Does anyone else think they may do a Reading Festival and reuse an act already on that day??

The Coral have been bumped down the main stage to a, in my opinion, offensively early spot. Maybe they've done that to have them then headline the Arena.
