Nah. They've been idiots and misjudged the number of servers they need for the new site. The redesigned one is clearly a lot more demanding/user than last season's setup and with a steadily increasing demand, and the run-up to the deadline of last free unlimited transfers, there's just a lot more strain on their equipment than they'd anticipated. Fools. Another reminder of how good efests is on that front.

I've got a team in leagues from another forum and work but I hadn't added myself to this one yet! Looks like I'll be missing gameweek one, shame really as I didn't even feel the need to tweek today (except maybe starting with Suarez). Shouldn't have waited until now.

Good response. Pretty necessary IMO, even though it's just a free game. My work league actually involves a buy-in and prizes, and I doubt it's the only one. Means I can get all those Spurs and Everton players back in. After all, both teams always start the season flying ;)

wowza. And there i was thinking it was a bit of fun. I see kowalski takes this quite seriously. I expect to get my arse whooped

I set up my account and threw in a random team to sort out when I had spare time friday evening. Luckily i'm stateside so managed to get on 5am UK time when the servers had freed up. Otherwise I would have been stuck with Bendtner and Ameobi up front

Let me guess, you've set your team up for the first set of games, including game week 1 without Spurs/Everton, and were planning to make 2 changes to adjust for the 3rd week of fixtures, getting in players that will have a tough game in week 2?

You're right about the double-transfer though. If people don't want to take advantage of this free wildcard for some reason, probably due to having set up for the fixtures, then they should get a double in week 3.
