New Pornographers on the main stage.

I would love to see New Pornographers in the line-up before Modest Mouse and just wondered if I was the only one. Would love to get people's views on the matter and if enough people feel the same way then maybe things will change.

I couldn't agree more. They definitely belong on the main stage, and if they clash with Modest Mouse I will be left in quite a pickle! My vote goes to swapping them with Wolf Parade - they'd sit perfectly between Mountain Goats and Modest Mouse.

I have to admit, I do see Wolf Parade as more of a tent band, rather than open-air. But I'm guessing their thinking was based around how popular the New Pornos appeared to be from the feedback they've received. I think they were genuinely surprised at how excited people were about them being on the bill, so gave them a headline slot.

I dunno, whatever happens, something's going to go wrong with my plans to see all the bands I want to.

I would love to see New Pornographers on the Main Stage: I figured they'd make a perfect second-to-last band behind MM or YLT (actually, if I saw that lineup without knowing who was headlining, I would have thought NP would headline above, say, YLT. But what do I know? ).

Still, I'm very happy with the Sunday lineup on the main stage, so that's something

I am really gutted that new pornographers clash with modest mouse, but i've seen modest mouse before and will be seeing them again before this festival, so i am happy to hang round for some mountain goats, wolf parade, and then mosey off.

Maybe thats horribly selfish of me, aha, but WOLF PARADE. I LOVE THEM SO. I am basically going to EOTR for wolf parade and mountain goats, so them being together is just perfect for me.

I agree with Dracula. For me it's great that Modest Mouse and Wolf Parade won't clash.

Seriously, if you look at last years stage times, the clash will be minimal, if at all. I know it's only really guess work, but as a guide, it tells a much more positive tale.

Of course it's hard to say since the number of performers allocated to the different stages are not the same this year.

I love Wolf Parade especially there new album which is great I just feel that the big tent would suit them more and new pornographers is gonna b packed and rightfully deserve to b on the main stage

i think big top and main stage have the same capacity, 3,000, if anything the big top has more room.

I too am looking forward to Wolf Parade, never got in to The New Pornographers but but then i don't like A.C.Newman or Neko Case.

hope that new pornographers set falls after MM as I will definitely see modest mouse and want to see both wolf parade and new pornographers. though i would be very happy to see NP swap with wilco.
