I only really liked the first two cribs albums and used to be a huge fan- would've been great to see that version of the cribs again

It wasn't a no-show like it sounds. It was planned for him not to be there. The reason he wasn't there was because The Cribs were only playing their first two albums in tribute to Witchita Records. I was lucky enough to be there.

Yeh well he said that a lot at Cribsmas aswell. I'm sure they'll start playing some of the older ones again, the likes of Direction and What About Me were back for the last tour. I don't think you can solely blame Johnny for them calming down their live shows, I'd say it's also down to them generally growing up, getting married etc. They're still one of the most energetic live bands around.

Anyway, yeh I would expect Johnny to at least make an appearance for one song.

I just dont see why it matters wether he plays it particularly, that is all. Youre gonna have modest mouses traditional line up. why be bothered about some other man joining in for 2 songs. I understand he's a legend, but if youre such a johnny marr fan, you'll see him later on anyway.
