Where is the green Car park exactly?

Do the boats from there run regularly every day? Im annoyed with the long walk around Red to get in again (from the town center and looking at other options, will probably just get cabs this year, being lazy sorts, if the green car park is miles away, which I suspect it is looking at the river.

yeah green car park is really far - takes about 15 minutes on the boat to get to the landing station outside green wristband exchange from the car park or a good 25 minutes walk along the river with all your camping stuff. it's by Reading station and the big tesco if you're familiar with Reading town

"

I find white the easier of the two, may be more walking but no hanging around for boats. And on a Thurs/Fri there are queues for the boat"

Anyone else remember 2007 when only white carpark was open cos of the flooding and there was no bridges - the queue for a 3 minute boat ride was up to 3 hours!

it depends where you wanna camp. i camp in the middle of green so if i was coming from the station, i'd either cross over to the boat, or get a taxi to richfield avenue and then walk along the river to green wristband exchange and then pop in through there. red is a mission coz you have to go all through the queue and wristband bit, and then trek through the campsite on those metal walkway things and through the funfair bit
