Tickets delivered to the wrong address!

A week last Monday I received an email from DX Secure saying that the tickets had been delivered successfully. I hadn't received any tickets!! After some to-ing and fro-ing the tickets were actually delivered next door. Even the photo they took of the door as proof said Number 8 and we live at Number 6! Unfortunately next door is a block of flats but there's only one postbox, therefore anyone could've picked them up. Knocked on last night and the lady who answered hadn't seen them.

Have left a note in the hallway but not holding out much hope. Also it's been over a week since the tickets were delivered and no one's dropped them over. Has anyone had the same problem? The people at See have been in contact and said that they can't re-issue tickets and to let them know if i have any luck in getting them back. If I can't get them back then they'll speak to the account manager.

Has anyone else had the same problem? What was the outcome? I'm just concerned that they'll only offer me a refund and, with the festival being sold out, i won't be able to go!!!

DX Secure.... i think they need to change their name!!

Thanks for any advice,

Polly

My tickets were delivered by DX Secure, but we were out and they still posted them. But I was always under the impression that you had to sign for the tickets, otherwise you could claim back....

I hate having tickets delivered by post. It's the most stressful thing ever. Especially as the ticket vendor and delivery agent DON'T GIVE A FLYING f**k whether you get them or not.

You want to kick of really big about this, they have failed to provide the service (tickets delivered to you) that you paid for and even have photographic proof that they cocked up. I wouldn't take any "we can't issue new tickets nonsense" they will have a few tickets held back for issues like this and they shoudl replace yours with new ones.

Reminds me of a friend who has his tickets delivered to work and someone signed for them (illegibly) and then pocketed them. it was only an office of 20-odd people so he was working with someone who'd stolen his tickets!

Well thankfully there has been a happy ending to this story.

I found out from one of the tenants that the landlord sometimes picks up any leftover post. I managed to get in touch with him and he had a look through the stash that he'd picked up from there recently. Thankfully my tickets were in that stash.

I think I was really lucky as anyone could've picked up those tickets. I can't tell you how relieved I am but i'm still so furious with DX. I have demanded at least a full apology from them as their service was shocking. I hope no one else has to go through what I did.

I can now start to get excited about V....see you all there and thanks for your posts!!
