Hi Everyone!!

Hope all is good, we've got 16 days left to the V fest and im sooooo excited. :D

Im one of a group of 6 girlies that will be attending the v fest, however, we are travelling in a campervan. (not to sure what colour site that is.)

As this is our first time at vfest, we was hoping to meet and chill out with some lovely people. So on Friday after the indie disco me and the girlies are going to be throwing a first timer party at the campervan, so people can get to know each other.

If you are going to vfest along or in a group, come along it's gonna be fun.:D

I will post more information such as, what flat to look out for or the campervan name, in due course

Regards

Hey Berry,

Only people that have campervans are allowed in the campervan area sweetie, you get a different coloured wrist band and they have people checking them as you walk through, they start of quite strict and then usually as the weekend goes on they check them less and less...we was in the campervan area (purple) last year, and again this year - love it!

are there restictions on the size of the campervan that you can take to the festival?

my mum has just bought a massive campervan, i would love to take this next year, it would make make things so much more comfortable.

is there a different entrance route for campervans into weston park aswell ?

i think its about 8.7m long.

im happy with my tent for this year but i am deffo gonna think about using the campervan next year.

if the limit for each campervan is 4 people. and i had to buy 2 campervan tickets, then would i be allowed to bring more people back to my pitch?

you will be made up having something decent to cook on, a TV, a nice bed, fridge and a hot shower. you will be one of the cleanest people at the festival on sunday haha/

For every campervan pitch that you buy you get 4 campervan coloured wristbands, so the people in the campervan area have a different coloured wrist band to everyone else. When you go and get your wrist bands 4 will have to go with one ticket and 4 with another, all checking in at the same time as you ca.

If you meet ‘randoms’ that don’t have campervan wristbands then they would not be able to come back to your camper, but anyone in the campervan area can, and im sure there have been ppl that have sneaked in before…?

Last year a friend of ours managed to get a campervan ticket on ebay for £1, we all thought it was joke and that the ticket would be fake, but it wasnt and he got a campervan wrist band and came back to party at our camper, so that was pretty good although we was pretty annoyed as we had paid a fortune, bloody typical!

Yeah I’m pretty excited about our campervan, never will I have been so clean at a festival!!! Cant wait, bring it on!

It all depends on what you like, I wouldn't suggest red just because it's incredible dirty and the queues for the toilets are ridiculous, I would suggest blue because it's a great atmosphere and one of the cleanest campsites, their used to be a post on all the campsites, if your lucky you might find it.

Hope this helps, and I might see you at V in 13 days :D

Red isn't incredibly dirty. It's loud yes and a through-fare to other campsites but I wouldn't say it's dirty. The toilets are the worst out of all campsites but that's to be expected with everyone walking through. I love Red. If you like to party. Get to Red.

If six of you are trying to get and stay in the campervan area, you can all enter the campervan field together in your van. Before you go down to get your wrist bands ask around the campervan site for people that only have two sleeping in their van (such as myself and hubby) ask them if you can go with them to get a wrist band (i've done it several times over the years). Then once all six have your wrist bands you are free to come and go as you please.

When you drive on to the campervan field, if they question you just say two people are travelling with you not staying in the field.

Awnings are allowed alongside your campervan as long as it is attatched to the side.

Have fun :)
