Drop Off Point affect waiting times?

Basically, first festival, will being dropped off at V, as opposed to parking and leaving my car there. Will this affect the length of time we have to queue for? or will we still have to queue like everybody else?

You'll just walk straight on site. The only thing you'll be queuing for is your wristband.

But it's the same - or more or less - approach on the road if that's what you mean

It depends on the time you arrive, it's the time waiting in the queues and the same wristbands point, so its just a shorter walk from the drop of point compared the car parks I think, last year I went at 8 on Friday and there was no traffic and I waited at most 20mins for my wristband,

Can anyone whose used the drop off point before tell me if you need to show your ticket before you get out the car? I am due to collect some under 16s who are being dropped off and would rather keep the tickets with me till I meet them there, rather than hand them over beforehand - it's their first fest and they wouldn't have a clue who is supposed to ask to see their tickets and who might be trying to nick em!

i can never imagine how people carry all their stuff when they go by coach, we normally have to make two trips back to the car!!

I've just read your message again and I understand what you mean now,

Yes you can keep the tickets with you until you meet them, they won't need any ticket of any sort to get in, I used it last year and the only people who check tickets are the wristband exchanges,
