First time at a festival and going alone :O

Hey everyone was supposed to be going to creamfields last year with two friends but they pulled out at the last minute so I didnt end up going and it's happened again this year but I am definatley not missing this again. But with this being my first festival and especially a major one like Creamfields im just kinda daunted about going alone and just wondered if anyone has any tips/advice? And do many other people go alone or am i just gonna be that one guy on his bill lol

theres actually a few threads on here bout ppl goin on their own mate so i very much doubt u will be the only 1, take a look at the efest camp thread and you could possibly join up with every1 there if ur still unsure of bein on ur tod when u get there

Yes, I'm on my own for the weekend, though I had organised to meet up with some people that I'd met over the last few years. This has now dwindled to meeting up with just one, on Saturday! Still, she's worth a whole bunch of mates! It could push up to two if anyone has a spare Sat ticket for her partner (see other posting)

i am yet another one going by myself this year at my very first creamfields, i have been to two festivals already this summer (wireless and guilfest) with a few mates but they haven't bothered about going to creamfields due to money problems and that dance music is not their greatest love unlike myself.

i see the the camp thread which looks cool but i've only brought the saturday and sunday day tickets just in case if i don't enjoy the first day so much by myself i can maybe try and sell the sunday ticket though hopefully i will enjoy myself and party hard non stop for 2 days.
