Just recieved the efests mailout about this.

I've heard great things about it, but didn't make it last year.

My band 'Alvin Purple' are playing on the Dukes stage at 4pm on the Saturday, would be lovely to see a few of you there!

Yes, this looks good--and not too far to travel either--for a change!

Only concern for us is that there is no caravan places on site and its a shuttle bus away.

Have asked how far it is away...but so far have had no response.

Thanks for bothering mate---I`ve already sent 2 emails asking about it and nobody has bothered their arse to reply, so they cant be that interested. Tickets booked for elsewhere.

We were pondering going to this one with the kids. Looks to be quite small though, and I'm not sure there'll be enough to warrant 3 days camping. How easy is it to get in and out of the place (by car) if you want to take in a bit of York etc?

Got my tickets ordered for it - looked at going last year but couldn't manage it in the end so really looking forward to it, especially the headliners. Will be nice end to the summer after the mud of Glastonbury at the beginning (with working at Summer Sundae in the middle as well).

Just sold my BD ticket as nothing on the line up appealed this year and will be getting a ticket for this instead

He emailed them and got swapped to the off-site camping, so he is happy now

I dont think I can make it, but if I was going I would go for the off-site camping

just to get a good rumour going British Sea Power are there and this is from the times ...... but that is a news international paper so have they got the phone taps to back this story up

Adrian the taxi driver was adamant. “It’s Arctic Monkeys,” he said, “and they’re coming in by chopper.” The rumoured special guests at British Sea Power’s inaugural Sing Ye from the Hillsides festival did indeed turn up on day two, with various Klaxons in tow, but the helicopter was a no-show and neither band performed.

ps. I was there but wouldnt recognise Elvis if he turned up but can confirm no helicopter landed
