that my early bird has arrived which is a good thing however it says you can only get in from 6pm and on themain website it says 2pm i know there was talk of a mis print but in this case the early bird is pretty pointless if you ask me

any one know whats going on ?

Someone said on the main forum. It might also be there to deter everyone going at 2. But it certainly opens at 2.

As someone mentioned on the main board, FR say different times in a few places (2pm, 6pm) to hopefully stagger the amount of people because there's a mad rush if everyone goes at say 2pm but if there's a slight doubt of the opening time people will turn up from 2pm-6pm. In actual fact some people say they were let in at 12 on the Wednesday last year but 2pm is a good time to get there

We got there at 1 last year I think it was. They had already let some people in and we got straight in with no queue at all. That was the brown gate. I suppose if all security in place and site ready they can open whenever.

I worked glastonbury this year and offical times meant nothing, it was just when the site was fit and security/stewards were ready and in place

Its a miss print, you can get onto the site from after 2pm, they will not open on time anyway so expect to get in at around 3 (ish)

I'm pretty sure it's just to stagger arrivals

Last year it officially opened at 2pm, on tickets said 6pm, but we arrived at midday and they'd already let people in

Is it just me, or is the official website a bit shit for information in general? I mean, the news announcements are always in a random order and very rarely "announced" (especially when it's bad news. Where were the announcements about RX Bandits and CIS being replaced, huh?), the photos section has about 5 photos in it, the videos section only has a few crappy short clips, most of which are titled completely wrong, they hardly ever inform you when bands pull out and they give you completely different information depending on whether you phone them, email them or check out the FAQ's - the early bird entry being just one example of that. Oh, and the look and functionality of the forums is balls too.

Everybody hates me on the Leeds forum I was camped in the middle of their group by accident. Anyway I got drunk and said they were a bunch a cliche c**ts, they still make comments about how much they hate me.

Glad they remember me because I can't think of any of their names.
