The practice every day thing will improve here ability and it teaches discipline, commitment and such like.... Of course it all depends on how piratical it is... She might have other commitments on other days...

but I am talking about her early years here... Primary school to Secondary School... From Secondary School onwards she can start choosing what she wants to do a more... She will be in a informed position to do so at that stage

I am aware of the effects music can have on children. I didn't realise that forcing someone to do something, your will, with the aim of teaching the values of discipline and commitment is a valued method.
