or alternatively, the UN resolution(s) does nothing at all - not even sanctions.

As is the case for the countless resolutions condemning various Israeli actions over many decades, which include security council resolutions that they should withdraw from the occupied territories, which are no different at all to the resolutions passed on Iraq to do with their invasion of Kuwait. Yet Kuwait gets invaded by a multinational force to evict the invaders, while nothing at all happens in the West Bank apart from further UN resolution violations on a daily basis with the continuation of the building of new settlements.

Which just gets to show what a complete crock of shit the UN is. It's simply an arm of US foreign policy in most cases.

Even if they know its going to happen, like they did in Rwanda, the UN have to wait for it to actually happen before they can go in. Which makes them totally useless.

with Rwanda they didn't even go in after it had started. They waited months.
