Raisetheroof Fifth Birthday Festival

So this is the first time I have posted on this forum. Since Raisetheroof doesn't occur on a green field site I never really knew how it would be received on here.

But it has been some years since people have referred to Raisetheroof as a 'festival' - inspired by the Boutique festival experience, it happens at the Leeds West Indian Centre between the hours of 9pm til 5am with enough bands, stalls, performance art and revelry to make for a memorable occasion.

It's been five years of slowly increasing the quality and size - and we intend to celebrate our birthday in style.

Anyway, enough of the sales pitch. I hope you can make it XXX Roxy XXX

Okay, so the likelihood of winning Best Metropolitan Festival against the likes of The Warehouse Project in Manchester and the Camden Crawl in London might be pretty slim, but we're told that the votes are weighted proportionately to the size of the event. So, we're in with a chance!

Best Metropolitan Festival is a category of the UK Festival Awards that recognises the inner-city festival-esque events, and there isn't that many in our category.

The odds dont seem too bad, so cast your vote and put Raisetheroof Leeds on the map!
