Hello. Am new here. Was sent this way by someone with whom I'd previously got in contact about this new winner of a forum subject.

Here's a quick summary for anyone who might get bored of a stranger going-on and on and then on -

- I'm going to the Belle and Sebastian All Tomorrow's Parties this December.

- I have a 4-person chalet but due to the money and often all-round far-offedness, I only have one person at the mo that I'd really like to go with.

- I want to share the chalet with nice people and maybe make me some new friends.

I'm too lazy to write much more now. So here's what I wrote before, on Facebook, to the person who sent me here. Anyone who's interested, ummm, I guess write back on here. If you want to know more about me or about what I like then I could point you toward my Facebook profile. I treat it as a kinda very occasional, very crappy blog, offers a well-rounded caricature of who I am.

Poo. I sent this message a couple of weeks back to a few people culled from the main list of people on here who are given as likely to be going to Bowlie, people with kind eyes, and now I’m doing the same with a few from the Possibles list. Only I’m not sure now whether or not I just sent this to you. Got distracted by the music playing through the speakers that are sat above my head. Proof if it were ever needed that I'm a little absent-minded. Not that you needed to know that. I'm going to risk whatever wrath may rise-up within you and send it again. That's if I already sent it. If not then there's no Again involved and this paragraph'll look like a rambling path that leads toward the demented. I've dug myself a hole. Again. Poo, there's that Again. I knew it was supposed to be in here somewhere. Yep. Well, anyway, my senses are telling me that you're kind. The forgiving kind...

I imagine that what follows will not be an interesting message. This is me holding up my hands in recognition of that fact. And then using them again to make a cup of tea. And then sitting them back down on my keyboard, finally to type-out the following wafty guff...

I've just had a look for people on here who are going to Bowlie 2. I'm looking 'cause I really want to go. I'm looking 'cause the only people whom I know that'd want to go are either abroad or broke. I'm looking 'cause there are only 4-person rooms available now and as things stand that'd leave me going with one friend that I'd really like to go with and a couple more people who'd be going largely just to make-up numbers. This is where you come in. Or not. Probably more likely not.

But then there's no harm in asking, so, this is me asking - Are you likely to have a spare ticket for your room? Or perhaps you need another person or two to go with? Or maybe you know of someone else who's in the same situation as me? I'm sure that near-on everyone I ask will say no to the first two questions, which is cool, obviously, but hey-ho; I figure that the vast majority of people going will be good people and so I may as well try and meet some new people rather than fudging and going with people that I know won't especially enjoy this sort of festival.

I suppose that I really should attempt to describe myself a little too. I love meeting people; am pretty easy-going; an always ready dancer; musical; plan to set-up a band as soon as I find the right people; often lazier than I'd like.

Hmmm, that'll do.

Since writing that I've actually bought-up one of the four-person chalets. Itchy trigger-finger. Instantly felt the horrid worry of having to fill it. There is that one guy - the nicest guy I've ever met - that I'm definitely going to bring along; I have a couple of people interested but unsure if they're able; a few I could probably get to go, but they'd be the sort of people who might not fully enjoy this sort of show; and then there's a couple of people I could definitely fall back on, but, really, one of them's a bit of a dick, and they come as a pair unfortunately. Basically, it comes down to this: I'd much rather share with people who properly want to be there and enjoy themselves, rather than a couple of likelies that don't and won't.
