ridiculous last night. just completely f**king ridiculous.

treyc only got 2 votes out of 4, and got sent home! if cheryl didn't want to vote, she should have just voted for katy to even it out and send it to deadlock. she'll be getting paid millions and then she refuses to vote and do the job she's getting paid for! i'm surprised she wasn't jumping at the chance to get rid of another black person, c**t that she is. i'm sure simon would have had something to say if danni or louis had refused to vote, but national treasure cheryl is allowed to do whatever she likes and get away with it! we can't go upsetting c**tychops racist thug cheryl!

i think if someone is in the bottom two over and over again, the judges need to realise that they're obviously not that well liked with the public and they should just send them home! especially when a shite act like katy is up against someone talented like treyc.

some people might argue that it's about more than singing, and i agree that you need more than that, but there is nothing likeable about katy, and she can't sing AT ALL! you need to at least be able to sing a wee bit, and if you can't, you need to be entertaining in other ways, which she isn't. she f**ked up two auditions before she even made it to the live shows, her performances have been out of time and out of tune, and in her bottom two performance last night, she was barely even singing! she was just sitting on the floor shouting and crying like a pure fanny!

if it's true that simon paid to get her out of a record deal in america, that is a complete disgrace and giving her an advantage over the other contestants since they obviously plan on voting out anyone else who ends up in the bottom two with her, to try and keep her in for longer and get their money's worth.

Can I respectfully suggest that what is most ridiculous is you taking it all so seriously?

It's not a talent show, it's an entertainment show, and a useful one for Cowell in manufacturing his next act.

If it was a talent contest the show would have finished after the auditions. "Sorry, you're all dreadful, we'll have to cancel the run of shows we have planned up until xmas" was never going to happen, even if that's the truth of it all (and it is).

Still, I'm sure the types who love Take That are lapping it up, seeing just how low their tastes can go.

Nope. I wouldn't pay money to see Shirley Bassey either; in fact I wouldn't see Shirley at all.

But none of that changes the fact that Mary can actually sing, and is one of the few who deserves a career out of X Factor and will probably get one, from the types (I'd guess it includes you, given your other 'tastes') who are also Jane MacDonald fans.

the fact that she's old, fat, irish and worked in tesco probably did have something to do with her getting to the live shows. i'm sure her singing had something to do with it aswell though, she's not as good as matt and rebecca but she is a really good singer, much better than average.
