Festival crates or supermarket crates?

Ok, been looking about on the official Leeds fest website and cannot find the prices of buying either a 15 or 24 pack of Lager on site, as I'm thinking of buying onsite this year, rather than carting one around that I have bought from the supermarket - but if the prices are silly, I'll go back to the 'carting a crate around' plan.

Thanks for any help.

I think it's about £30 for a crate of Tuborg from the carry out shop onsite. I can't remember how much it cost but you can buy cans of Tuborg,Tetley's Bitter and Gaymers from the onsite Supermarket and they only charge regular retail price, so that might work out cheaper.

I'm pretty sure it was £30, I've not bought a crate of Beer since about 2004 so I can't really remember how much it costs. perhaps someone else coul;d clear this up. I'm planning on buying my beer onsite but £30 does sound pretty steep.

When Carling did the festival it was £20 for a crate of 24 Carling and £25 for a crate of Kronenbourg or Grolsch.

That was a few years ago mind. It might be roughly the same as that but if it has gone up to £30 i wouldnt be suprised. I'd definitely take some with you.

For a crate of 24 Tuborg last year it was £26 so I imagine it would of gone up a bit

It's cheaper and not overly more difficult to just buy from ASDA or something they have 45 cans for £20 at minute especially if you drive to the festival just turn up take your tent queue up get your wristband set the tent up then go back for the heavy shit
