ATP Butlins curated by Matt Groening was superb.

Highlights would be Boredoms, Liars, Konono No1, Amadou and Mariam, Joanna Newsome, Tiger Lilies. Was anyone else there?

Faithless at the Roundhouse at I tunes festival also blew me away.

Gallows in Falmouth had to be seen to be believed.

So much good music at EOTR.

Has anybody had experience of the Cinema tent? My daughters are interested in some of the films?

Re Hop Farm. I can't reconcile the words "non-commercial" and "Mean Fiddler". This is the organisation that admittedly saved, but ultimately commercialised Glastonbury. It's odd, because 2-3 years ago I read nothing but good things about Hop Farm and it sounded like exactly the sort of festival I would have liked.

Low Anthem @ Moseley tonight! Old faves, great new songs and covers. Marvellous. Roll on next weekend.

Actually, Donovan was tremendous tonight, too! Even though he was always kind of shit in the 'old days'. "He used to be shite, but now he's alright ......."

Wolf Parade at the Borderline. Can't wait to see them again this weekend.

I've read some of the comments regarding Hop Farm. Won't be going there. I thought Latitude and Hard Rock Calling were rip-offs but that one seems to take the biscuit. Like football matches, most festivals seem to be about making lots of money and while the British continue to be inert at complaining this will always be the case.

Yesterday I saw;

Elliot Brood,

Danny & the champions of the world,

Sam Baker,

Emily Barker,

Peter Bruntnell band,

Chris TT's Hoodrats,

Jim Jones,

Ryan O'reilly,

Co Pilgrim,

at the wonderful SXSC Festival at the Railway Inn, Winchester.

Possibly the best £20 I have ever spent.
