How to sum up the Tory party

I realise you voted tory. What am I struggling to understand? You voted tory. I understand that. The tory you voted for is the exact same tory party you highlight in the title of this thread. You don't think there are two tory parties do you?

And to complicate matters. You voted tory at the local elections because they kept you council tax down. That means they cut spending on services that would affect the poorest the most. It is exactly the same thing as the government are doing.

I was reminding him whilst he was busy slagging the tories off that he had actually voted tory. And has no problem with that. You've read the rest of the thread - who do you think was being constructive and who do you think was hurling abuse? You've seen the other thread too where people other than me and sifi have challenged oaf today. Out of those people, who do you think was being constructive and who do you think was hurling abuse?

This is a thread about politics and ysterday you complained about threads about politics. WTF are you reading it for - and if you have nothing constructive to add to the thread, are you just fishing for a reaction?

It was obvious before a single vote was cast that a coalition was going to happen and from Cleggs avoidance on the subject it was going to be a coalition with the Tories, a vote for the lid dems was always a vote for the tories, to not expect it was naivety. The only thing really to consider was how much of a c**t Clegg was going to turn into when he tasted a little power. Almost makes me miss the one eyed c**t.

However much of c**t Clegg is, it's still the case that he's managed to knobble a little of tory policy. So in that sense I'm glad there's the coalition, because while the difference might be small, unfettered toryism would be worse.
