Hi All,

I have read a lot about this being really family friendly and have been doing my research.

My sis and her hubby want to take their 11 and 7 year old as its only 5 miles down the road from where they live.

me and my mine will be attending to 'help' but they have never been to a festival of any sort at all so i'd just like the skinny on the basics of attending (all the boring stuff - loo's, food, ease of access, distance to lug camping kit)

also, my sister has to work a couple of shifts that weekend, how easy is it to come and go during the weekend, as she will probably have to go home, get changed, go to work, come back, at least once during the festy

cheers for any info you can provide.

btw, really stoked about the line up, great fun!!

With regards to the other stuff -

Toilets - been fine every year I've been (past 3 years), the right amount and cleaned regularly.

Food - Good selection of world foods, and very reasonable prices. If I remember right, BT posted a list of the stalls that would be there nearer the time (and prices too perhaps?)

Beer - Well I know you like your Ale, so you won't be dissapointed. And with near to pub prices, you don't feel ripped off. You can also take your drink into the arena area but please also support the bars :)

Access/Distance to lug stuff - Well it's a new site, and not sure of the layout but the past couple of years it's been pretty much the next field. Am sure Rich can answer more on how far etc (plus am sure there was helpers last year?)

You will love it mate, great festival, well run, family friendly and lots of fun.. plus the usual eFest faces there which some you will know

See you there :)

Ladies and gentlemen, we know you're all waiting for our big Friday line-up announcement. We promise you that it is now all sorted and we hope you won't be disappointed. However, in light of the tragic incident within the heart of our adopted community, we feel that it would be totally disrespectful to make this announcement at such a sad time. This announcement was due to be sent to national, and more importantly regional, press. It was to be a fun announcement including the Wagner release.

The Beat are playing. They were taken off the line up page while we resolved a small issue due to the bands agent changing. All done and all good :)

Yes there will be shuttle buses from Derby to the site from 4 locations. They will be announced very soon

Be good to see you make the trip down Donkey!

Having made the long trip south to meet the BT team at the planning meeting on Saturday, it is a privilage to be involved with this festival and all who work tirelessly to make it happen.

Sounds as if this year is shaping up to be a cracker too :)
