I saw it, while staring at my lovely two bars -
Frank turner cheese and grain in frome for February couldnt get on website at first So went old school and rang up spoke to a human straight away and actual tickets get posted this afternoon . Well happy never been cheese and grain before so win win -
It'll be a mix. Definitely scammers in there, but given the way the new system works - it does make it a hell of a lot easier for the "pay me for this service" types to insert themselves as well, and if they're taking in thousands for "guaranteed deposits" then they only need to spend a percentage of that to put themselves in a position to be near enough certain of delivering and build a reputation so even more people go with them next time. Here's the thing. I've got the knowledge and the access to resources that I can "play the game" enough to ensure my own success (done) and bring a fair few people with me (pending) without spending any extra money. But ultimately the game has changed massively in favour of the tout-types. And tbh with that in mind I'm not even sure I'll want to play the game past the next festival. -

The problem is, I feel that for every band who won't/can't pay for a ticket, there will be 5 more who would jump at the chance if it means that not only do they get to go to Glastonbury, they get to say they played a it! The way we consume music has changed and I do not doubt for a second it's much harder to get your foot in the door as a new artist these days. However, what Glastonbury is doing is obviously working for them as is. -
Just all feels extremely safe 6/10 light rock music to me personally. If they have a direct choice between him and Fred Again I think it should be a no brainer to go for the latter (and I don't particularly like Fred Again)
