Reading 2011 line up prediction

Ah good, glad they aren't playing. Its not that I dont like them, Ive seen them live and they were quality, but the crowd they would attract would just be too bad and i'd rather some epic band like The Cure or Strokes playing instead

I really think The Cure would be more likely to glastonbury. And that's even if they do a festival, i mean, why would they? Have they got a new album ou, have they said they might, or is it just wishful thinking, because i'm sure people were mentioning them last year as well.

The Cure have disappeared, have not seen them post a blog or ANYTHING in time. Robert Smith is getting too old. Don't get me wrong, absoloutely love them, but, big long shot.

Personally, I reckon The Strokes will, have a new album coming out next year, good possibility.

Yeah but they kinnda tour the US all the time. Their last tour was an American one, they headlined a festival (can't remember which). I would love to see them give the UK a little ditty once in a while

I'd love to see the Cure, but the point is there's absolutely no more of a reason for them to play next year than this year.

Doubt the Cure would play, they tried to get them when The End Of The World was all over MTV 2 constantly and they said no.

I was on another forum and there was a guy who said he was at Reading BBQ and was talking to Melvin about who hes aiming to get, etc. Apparantly he's aiming to get either Soundgarden or System Of A Down but not both, he also said he had one headliner already booked up.

I reckon Soundgarden would have less draw than Arcade Fire this year :/ people would watch if they were there but theyre no Guns n Roses, ACDC, Iron Maiden, etc
