Main Stage Moved

went for the day yesterday and was surprised to see they had moved the main stage further right from where it originally was and the toilets are now closer to right of stage too.

i didnt like it myself, makes the arena and the area round the main stage seem smaller now. because the toilets are where the bar was in previous years you now have to go to the back of the field to get a drink.

like i said, dont like it myself!

As I have said in the other thread about this. I think it worked. got rid of the bottlenecks and seemed to spread the crowd out instead of the right hand side always being so packed.

I thought it worked pretty well for the most part. Was surprised how much space there was down the front on the left side (as you look at it) of the stage. That area was half empty most of the time, it was nice to have somewhere quiet and fairly close to the stage to sit down and relax with a few pints as there was never a wait to get served at the bar down there.

As someone who's had to look after another who was injured in a bottleneck crush the open plan feel is a lot smoother

Worked great, you could easily walk down the stage an there was always plenty of room to move around.

It was much better as you could walk in at the middle of the stage instead of having to cut in from the side. Never had any issues with crushing going in or out of the main stage area.

Don't know were you people were. Made it better? I think NOT. Much worse to get out, took about 30 mins to get out. Shuffeling along!

Not to metion trying to get to the lock up stage.

It has always taken a long time to get out at the end of the night and the queues that I noticed were all due to getting out of the arena and nothing to do with the placement of the main stage.
