Parrots

Ive been to the EOTR festival for the last 4 years and every year have really enjoyed seeing those magnificant parrots flying around and perching in the trees but this year I didnt see them once. Im worried that the festival has scared them off or they didnt make it through the winter, did anyone else see them this year? Apart from that had a great festival as always, lots of suprises, the highlights probably being Deer Tick playing with no power or the secret stage gig from Moddi.

Yep, two flew across the field just above our heads while we were queuing for a shower on Saturday morning!

being a pathetic newbie, i knew nothing about the parrots (only the peacocks).

saw the parrot pictures above the main stage obviously, then when going back to the car park one morning heard this strange exotic squawking. actually thought it was someone messing around with a tape or something - never got that they were real. doh.

Saw them quite a few times. Beautiful creatures, though spare a thought for the child they carried off and ate in the trees.
