Katster
Being short sighted's not an age thing. I've been short sighted in one eye and long sighted in the other since I was old enough to be tested. They let me off having to wear glasses through my teens, but apart from that I've always worn glasses/contacts. It's not being able to see close up, even with my contacts, that really gets on my nerves. I can't see properly to text, even. How am I going to be able to get myself a new fangled smart phone if I can't see the screen?
feral chile
It makes me feel old and it must be an age thing for me as up until a couple of years ago my sight was fine even for distance. Since then I have slowly been noticing more and more that I cannot see things in the distance that other people can see and what made me notice it the most was sitting right at the back at a show a few weeks ago and not being able to make the people's faces out on stage properly!! The optician has told me I am right on the border of being illegal to drive without glasses whereas when I passed my test at 17 I could easily read number plates even beyond the distance requested. Ho hum, it was bound to come sooner or later. Everyone in my family wears glasses. In answer to your problem, get an iPad ;-)

rexclark
I can cope with going grey - it's the thought of losing my hair that's more worrying. But determined never to go for a 'comb over'.

sonny
Telling my neighbours daughter to wait for Xmas for a new bike after hers broke. She looked at me as if I was a mentaller and could not get her head around the fact that we waited for 'big presents' for Xmas and they didnt just appear mid-week. I blew her mind when I said that I didnt have a mobile phone at 10 and in fact I had to go down the road to use a pay phone, with a 2p piece I think I'll leave black and white TVs for another day. Rufus Gwertigan
depends how old you are compared to how old the attractive people are. so yes, when everyone you find attractive is younger than you. And the older you get, the more this becomes a problem, as the 'permitted' age range gets older.
