Maoster
Too many fantastic musical memories to be definitive but three that stand out are: - Wilco - Handshake Drugs (right after his "really really really nice festival" comment) - Charlie Parr - Payday at Coal Creek - Phospherescent - Mermaid Parade I honestly thought Wilco was the best headline set I have seen at EOTR in 4 Years, what an amazing band, quickest 90 minutes of my life!! Sipperana
Hard to name individual song highlights, partly due to being crap at knowing song titles these days, but among my favourite moments were: Mirror Kisses by Citay - utterly beautiful The song written by Mr Curly Hair from the Wilderness's mother, which I saw them do twice Sylvia by the Antlers - my fave track from the album, this made up for them not doing it at Latitude Charlie Darwin - the crowd silence that the Low Anthem can command for this song is astonishing The London Snorkelling Team's mixing desk song - totally inspired, as was their whole set, but this one I laughed at the most That of course is three in the Monty Python and the Holy Grail sense... Elfy
I'm going to cheat and do sets, not songs..... Citay - award for "exceeded expectations" Wintersleep - award for "rocked it up a lot more than expected" The Wilderness of Manitoba - award for "total loveliness at the Piano Stage - two nights in a row" ...... with an honorable "Maddest thing in the world, ever, and biggest grin inducing act" award for...... drum roll (literally) - Monotonix

Infinite Jest
Wilco: Sunken Treasure (they opened with Sunken Treasure?!!?!) The Low Anthem: almost any but let's say To The Ghosts Who Write History Books The Felice Brothers: Frankie's Gun (basically for the moment when the washboard player held his mike out for the crowd to sing 'turn the goddamn radio down!'). Honourable mention to whatshisname and the Zizaneques: Trouble (title?) on the Piano stage.
ilikeboureks
1. The Wilderness Of Manitoba covering Crosby Stills & Nash's Helplessly Hoping at the piano stage late on Sunday night. 2. Edwyn Collins doing A Girl Like You. The guitarist was truly brilliant, but I thought Mr Collins was inspirational. A great performance of a great song, by a truly remarkable human being. 3. Phosphorescent - Los Angeles. Nothing else to say other than how much did that rock?!! I love to put more than 3. But that would be cheating.
Swindlebiscuit
Wilco: Handshake Drugs or Sunken Treasure or Late Greats (or Shot in the Arm purely for singalonga Swindlebollocks) Low Anthem: Charlie Darwin Unthanks: Blue’s Gaen Oot O’The Fashion
ljsawyer
1) Moddi - Rubbles - absolutely stunning, probably song of the weekend for me. 2) Deer Tick - Ashamed - acoustically after the power cut, mass singalong. 3) Wolf Parade - Cloud Shadow On The Mountain - went crazy for this one, the synths and the guitars were incredible live. cheesehead
Ooooh... Amazingly, I can't see past Sunday evening for a top three. Low Anthem - Ticket Taker (made me nearly cry) Wilco - I'm The Man Who Loves You (made my jaw bounce off my boots) Felice Brothers - Two Hands (made me forget myself completely) Honourable 'Yay's to Phosphorescent, Elliot Brood, Wolf People, Plants & Animals and many others. GTG
I'm a bit restricted by not knowing the names of half the songs I heard, but I'd be pushed to beat these 3 4 as magical moments: Low Anthem - This Goddamn House (that version with the pump organ, horn and 2 clarinets, plus 2 mobile phones, is just magical, and the total respect the audience gave it was spine-tingling. Incidentally, it seems to be one of Daniel Lefkowitz's more upbeat songs!) I managed to not video this two weekends running. Doh! Felice Brothers - Frankie's Gun Edwyn Collins - Rip It Up Johnny Kearney & Lucy Farrell - Letters To Lenore
Dibford and Son
Hard to find just 3. last year I cheated and put down several, so I will do it properly this year. 1. Moddi Piano stage set in the rain when he invited everyone on to the stage to keep dry instead of taking cover in the trees. Got a great video if only I could work out how to do it! 2. Iron and Wine - Resurrection Fern - just a wonderful song, well done. 3. Elliott Brood - Fingers and Tongues - they rocked closely followed by and in some cases matched by, The Antlers - Two, Kettering and Wake, Modest Mouse - Spitting Venom, The Felice Brothers - Frankie's Gun, Phosphorescent - The Mermaid Parade, Campbell and Lanegan whole set, and...............am I cheating again? speckles
This is really hard, there was so much, but 1. Iron and Wine - Upward Over The Mountain. Sounding even more beautiful then it does on record. 2. Mountain Goats - Up The Wolves. Not even sure they played this anywhere else on their UK tour. It was lovely to see John Darnielle with a big grin on his face for all of their set. 3. Darren Hayman doing Alan Bean. It's not a big suprise to see Darren doing Hefner songs anymore, but I've seen him lots and Dead Media isn't an album I've seen him do a lot off so it was great to see. Also Moddi doing an amazing covers of Bridges and Balloons during their 2nd woods set. Theres loads more too, antlers, yo la tengo, Captain Death by The London Snorkelling Team (their visual comedy/music thing was amazing)
