World's best live venue

We can disregard anything ben says about Glasgow venues as he had a bad time there once and hasnt forgotten about it

Concorde 2 is my all time venue, converted ballroom, right under the walkway so the acoustics are great and brilliant atmosphere too even when people arn't moving. Camden Scala comes a close second though

The worst venue I've been to has to be the Shepards Bush Empire, I saw Dinosaur Jr there and expected it to be earbleadingly loud, but it wasn't as the acoustics there are so awfull.

Scala isn't in Camden it's by Kings Cross, I pass it everyday.

king tuts is probably my favourite, closely followed by the barras. i really like the ABC for gigs aswell.

If it's cheap cheerfull that you like you should try World's End above Underworld near the station.

Cheap? The place is a f**king rip off, and they short you on the pints by pouring massive heads.

Much prefer the Dublin Castle.

Brixton academy or Oxford academy, been to some really intimate gigs there. Oxford really love to make your ears bleed, but that's how i love it.

Talking of Brixton I'm seeing deftones and Alexisonfire in November, cannot wait!

I wasn't that overawed by the Barras till I saw My Bloody Valentine and they were amazing but you can only take so much warm carlsberg straight out the can and sweat poring off you despite being at the back!

I don't mind the Carling academy but I always find myself stood in the most awkward of places!
