ThomThomDrum
Although it does have to go up against Sunday Night Football does it not? Packers/Saints would have been a big draw viewer wise this past weekend

ThomThomDrum
BTW so far they are not doing too badly this year figures wise. They will be OK for a while yet Purple - Season 5 Yellow - Season 4 Green - Season 3 Red - Season 2 Blue - Season
WS_Jack_III
Well it beat the football on season opening episode. Next episode is all most certainly going to be the same timeline as this week's but focusing on Daryl and Carol's adventure, ending at the same point as this weeks ep. ThomThomDrum
Also the World Series was on this past Sunday so A drop in WD viewers should really have been expected IMO with that and the GB NO game on
luckysalt
When watching Talking Dead they showed an exclusive clip of next weeks episode, shows Beth waking up in a hospital bed with drips attached to her, she got up had a big cut on her face, went to an big window looked outside it showed a city but it looked empty, she tries the door but cant get out and starts shouting for help and you see the door being opened and it cut... The panel then discussed it and one [some actress/comic] immediately said is that a flashback the host immediately downplayed that and they cut to Slash who said I dont think it was a flashback and then they went back to entire panel and she was saying oh yeah I dont think its a flashback. Im not sure if she wasn't meant to have suggested that and they quickly steered you away from that cus they didn't want it spoiling or what? I don't believe Carol OR beth are with Daryl, I believe Carol is stuck wherever Beth is and Daryl has brought someone from there back to here to fetch the rest of the group to take them to that place. But I dont think we will see that until episode 5, I think episode 4 will be just Beth and then Carol and Daryl catching up at the end. For Scottie and advanced comic book readers up past this storyline So we are in timeline with the comics, Hunters storyline has just finished. Firstly before I get to whats next I want to discuss whats just happened, it was a nice touch they changed it slightly so that Gareth entered the church instead of Rick finding them, however I was a little disappointed with badass Rick, he didn't cut them all in to bits one by one as they were forced to watch, knowing it was them next, that was a truely brutal side of Rick I just don't think we are going to see on the show. Right so... whats next. Well in the comics its Alexandria so maybe the person with Daryl is Aaron to take them there. However at this point in the comics, Morgan is back with them already, however he could meet up with either party on the way. I've just re-read the hunters issues and the start of meeting Aaron and JUST in between the two events the group find out about Eugene's lies, we've already seen on the trailer that that happens on TV too, you see Ab on the floor in disbelief, thats when he finds out for sure, so I imagine, when it cuts back to that group travelling to Washington it won't be very long until they find out, then they'll return to Rick and co. So yeah ep 4 Beth's background, ep 5 The other group, ep 6 they reunite and go to Alexandria, ep 7 getting to know alexandria ep 8 cliffhanger however, I just dont know what it can be unless its Rick saying that if they try to throw us out we take it from them OR saying to Glenn go and get our guns back. Either way, its gunna start to slow down, The thing with Alexandria though, its small, too small for that hospital with Beth in... so maybe they're going to change things again... 5co77ie
in response to above:most people seem to be guessing that it's going to be Noah (played by Ryler James Williams - http://www.wetpaint.com/walking-dead/articles/2014-08-26-season-5-is-tyler-williams)he's from the game where Daryl finds him, I'm thinking it'll be Noah too as the game has been referenced with the markings left by Gareth, the hospital 'Slabtown' is also from the game called 'Cleburne' - more cross over. It's either him or as you say Aaron - or another newbie. How about Negan for a total WTF moment! And I don't think Rick's going to get real bad ass, they seem to be leaving to Mychoone, meaning Negan is likely to be watered down too Edited October 29, 2014 by 5co77ie

WS_Jack_III
Why? That was a high point for most of us agreed, AMC shows seem to have annoying wife characters.
Bisque
I'm really struggling to start watching it again after that scene. In no way was she a good character & I doubt many people would willing want to die for their child to possibly survive, plus might not be Ricks, & leave their husband as a widow (bitch) but I know something just as bad is coming up. luckysalt
Its been confirmed who is with Daryl Its Noah. He escaped the hospital with Daryl, Carol remains at the hospital with Beth. It appears this is a completely new story which has never appeared in the comics. And I've found a new video on youtube, its a preview of next weeks episode from NZ TV, shows a little more and gives a bit of insight. Starts with the end of last weeks ep and then has the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk5wV7FK8zs

WS_Jack_III
Aaaand we've reached the poor episode after three really good ones. I had no idea what was going on and felt like nothing was explained but then i figured that's because things weren't as they seemed. Last ten mins were good again though. bunique
I also thought I'd missed something re: Joan and leaving the hospital? Weird one.
ThomThomDrum
I liked it. I like when you are trying to work out what the hell is going on. It was edge of the seat stuff at times. The sawing of the arm really made me squirm. And the end was pretty good. This season is still truckin along nicely IMO
luckysalt
It was ok, I just really dont give a fuck about Beth.
t8yman
Same here, she's a weak character, obviously badass carol is coming back. I dont like this hospital storyline at all tbh, hope its just a throwaway bit. didnt really enjoy it.

Thank god Beth's days are numbered. Edited November 4, 2014 by 5co77ie
