Bisque
I've still not been able to get back into WD, shame as I was enjoying it a lot.

WS_Jack_III
I liked this week's, knew he was lying all along, i remember saying to my brother that he couldn't be a scientist with a mullet. Enjoyed the flash back bits running along with this ep, gave you deeper insight on Abraham. The Fire engine bit was great and definitely this weeks zombie kill/s of the week, and perhaps the funniest moment in the entire series was when they were doing it and spotted Eugene watching. Had me laughing for a while that i had to rewind to watch bits i missed due to laughing. I really thought that last flash back would cut and we'd see Abraham blow his brains out. viberunner
Well, since it's "spoiled" in the thread... actually very grateful for the revelation. If he'd have been an actual mulleted scientist who then fixed all the zombies in the world with his Magic Missiles I swear before Supreme Allah I would physically hunt down and slap everyone who had ever worked for AMC. t8yman
I had a feeling he was full of shit, but the show was slow, did little, and only really salvaged itself at the end. Plus, the firehose wouldn't have worked if the engine wasn't running (I would think?)
5co77ie
liking the way this series is going and the themes explored - in a zombie apocalypse what would you do? 1. just survive 2. hold on to what you got waiting for normality 3. Be part of a community: a) and have power go to your head? b ) let someone else rule without a democracy? c) become as bad as those you come across to survive? d) eat long pig? e) condone the use of torture? f) have a controlling police force? g) allow rape/corruption if it keeps your police force on side? h) destroy those who may try to take your place in the group? 4. help others or lock yourself away? 5. Lie - pretend you're an asset to stay alive? 6. Become selfless and help another achieve their aim to make it all worthwhile Edited November 11, 2014 by 5co77ie
t8yman
7. Just give up and kill yourself. That's the one I would choose - as long as I had no family to protect. If I did, I'd go for 2.

If I did, I'd go for 2. yeah, I guess it depends where you are holed up, Morgan's story proves home ain't necessarily safe, if the group hadn't arrived at the farm would Hershel and co be alive? Presumably the storing of zombies would have gotten to be a problem. Camping in woods - not so clever fortified caravan park - again issues. The prison was a good idea but if you have a good asset others will come after it. Woodbury was working but the leadership was a problem. The location of the hospital was also good - but food and those in charge again a problem. Terminus - well where to start on that one. The priest was doing okay - think he's the only one so far - can you think of any others?
Spindles
I was glad he came out, bit predictable but at least that's out of the way now No one seemed concerned that the water seemed to kill the zombies, was it holy water? 5co77ie
The Walking Dead has from the off used the premise that time makes for weaker zombies - the zombies are rotting - and in this case these ones were so old and decomposed that their heads could be blown apart by the force of the water. luckysalt
Tell you what guys, I recommend all of you also watch The Talking Dead after each episode, its quite easy to find and download as its not shown here, but it explains things a lot more and helps you understand characters better, this weeks was definitely a must see. It explained the water killing the zombies, it also explained Abrahams flashbacks and went in depth on Eugene and Abrahams characters as they were both on the show to discuss. bunique
The problem is that a show shouldn't need another show as an afterthought to explain the significance of particular moments. That should be explained within the show itself!
5co77ie
plus aren't the guests then killed off like Game Of Thrones' one?
luckysalt
No the guests aren't killed off. If its someone whos been killed off, they'll say beforehand a mystery guest. But the other week the mystery guest was Beth after her episode, so not always killed off, next weeks show is Tara and Noah. No theres no legit download, as its a live interactive show on straight after TWD in US. But its great IMO. Sometimes its cast members, production team or celeb fans. Slash was on the other week and is a big fan of the show, CM Punk was on last year. Everyone who is on seems very knowledgeable with their TWD. bunique
It's a shame because I really like both characters and the dynamic between them. But it didn't play to those strengths. Guessing second half of the series is going to be all about taking on the hospital. At least we get a city setting. The woods were getting dull to look at Edited November 17, 2014 by bunique
t8yman
Typical WD season, once again. A great start, a very dull middle, and an overdrawn slog to take an objective in the final third.
5co77ie
damn them slowing it down for the mid season break. Took far too long to get there yesterday. to be in 2 car crashes in one day after a zombie apocalypse is very bad luck. why did Carol take the book? Any thoughts? Surely the hospital finale is mid season - and : Noah came from a 'walled' community he said - the safe zone? He's going to lead them there.
