Apparently Michael Eavis has this amazing knack of predicting the weather by May. He's got it right the last 15 years so I'm told. Something about the cows or some bollocks.

This year he has predicted

drum roll

Hotter than last year.

Yes. Don't know if he's still involved or not, but either way, their forecasts are shit. Stick with Netweather

I remember checking Metcheck every day for about 2 weeks before Glastonbury 2007. The forcast changed every single day! I think it said sunny before we set of on the tuesday, just remember leaving with high hopes for the weather. How very wrong it was... Metcheck is a curse.

the netweather long range forecast has been delayed till next week - however, it says this as a little taster...

"The Netweather summer forecast will be released this week, and following on from a very successful run of long range forecasts is definitely one to watch for.

Many people have been speculating what this summer may be like with views covering one end of the spectrum to the other. If you're looking for recent years which have started in a similar way - the last very warm and dry April was 2007 - the infamous summer of that year included some of the worst flooding seen in living memory across parts of the UK... "

I have completely forgotten, and despite searching through the 150 page weather thread from last year cannot find, what the German / French thing was about - can someone remind the hopelessly forgetful about it and how it started please. post link even better if you can find it! many thanks
