I dont bother worrying about the weather, whats the point in the end? I'd like the weather from 2009, not too hot just nice. Last year was ridiculous and at times I was really suffering. I hope it doesn't rain, but if it does then we just need to get on with it. I honestly do think rain is underrated :P

I remember 2005 well - up at the stones area having a brilliant time. My brother in law tells me his mate (who hadn't managed to get a ticket) has just phoned him and that there's a massive rain cloud heading for Glasto. We laughed it off as you do, floated back to the tents - crashed out - i think it was about 4-5 am and the thunder and lightning woke us up (no mean feat).

I swear thare were streams forming, running past the tent - the ground sheet was sticking out slightly too much and if we hadn't been awake and in the tent at the time, our tent would have gathered the water - we were scared shitless to look out in the morning as we knew it was bad - eventually adventured out about 11.00 and there were puddles knee high in the main drag. It didn't rain again over the weekend.

What amazed me about the Friday night, was the quiet patience of everyone, taking it easy and slowly - it did improve over the weekend.

Thats enough of the wet talk!

I have an important question to ask. Well actually now that's risen to two.

One. Just how many oktoberfest girls does google images have? Will we have to start recycling frauleins?

Two. How come no one has suggested that fancy dress friday have a bavarian theme? Lederhosen out for the ladies!

If it's hot and sunny it'll be great - avoid sun stroke and party hard

If it's wet and muddy so wot? Waterproof and welly up and get on - at least it'll be memorable

Grey and drizzly would be the worst - irritating and nothing to rave or go on about until it comes round again. weather is part of the thing

Joking aside GF and Michael were damn lucky that year. Michael and Emily think they are safe without heavy metal on main stages but with mother nature throwing a storm and flood of that proportion it could have easily ended the festival forever.

GFS 18z is out and look what you have done with all this talk of "doesn't matter if it r@ins it will still be fun" sh1te:

Concerted effort now. No more clouds, cool temperatures, r**n or even refreshing breezes. A lot of people think that this is the biggest weather thread, well it's not by a country mile. The biggest weather thread is for El Festival de las Artes Escénicas de las Azores. They never mention anything but glorious sun and look at that high pressure. We want some of that and if we're going to get it we need to stop f***ing about.
