FunkyDenz
If, according to those recent charts, the high pressure is in France, why are we being so pro-German? Surely we want the French high pressure to move across to Somerset? Also, are there any anti-Greenland pictures we can post?
William of Walworth
This morning's models pure shite. Stockpiling huge supplies of pessimism now. As insurance against them being needed in the end? We have just about a few days for more positive signs (ie any, at all) to start to show, if not .... MUDDAGEDDON!!!! Edited June 11, 2011 by William of Walworth

mirandamayhem
This thread is a tad depressing, but I refuse to be down! If it rains it rains, I'll just go live with the hare krishnas! I'm very hopeful of good weather though!

so_wot
Fuelled by the successful borrowing of a much bigger car, optimism is king! Wellies and waterproofs are relegated to the dark depths of the boot. Sun hats and flip flops rule. Having read the entrails of seaweed (well, saw something roughly like a heat haze pattern in the green frizzy stuff from the Chinese) I am predicting lots of sun, with occasional cooling showers and only moderate ickiness underfoot. And my forecasting track record is no worse than the met office.
Messy
Surely it's still way too early to be preparing for "MUDAGEDDON"? It's the weather, it's unpredictable.

jodicool
I know nothing about the weather but it seems to me that when the sun is shining and we're having a heat wave the prediction is for an indian summer/scorching Glast, Wimbledon etc... and then when it's a bit damp and cooler it's gonna be a mudbath. The fact is this time last week I was watching my son in a football tournament and it was hot and lovely and this week it's cloudy and not so hot. Our weather changes so quickly that only a stupid person would pack unprepared for all weather! There, said my piece, as you were.
