This isn't all bad

Netweather Royal Ascot, Glastonbury and Wimbledon Forecast:

The period mid June through early July marks the pinnacle of the British "outdoor" season with Royal Ascot, Glastonbury Festival and Wimbledon all taking place. All are very dependent on the weather and Netweather.tv is pleased to provide an experimental "long-lead" forecast covering this period.

Like all long range forecasts, this is an experimental field and detailed forecasts for specific days are not possible. However, we will attempt to provide a broad forecast of the type of weather patterns, temperatures and rainfall within this period which represents the average weather over the period.

Weekly breakdowns:

15th - 20th June: High pressure centred over Europe and low pressure in the Atlantic giving a warm and pleasant spell of weather, best of the sunshine and temperatures in the south-east. Cloudier and windier further north.

21st - 25th June: This period sees a more unsettled spell of weather for all parts with low pressure centred in the North Sea sustaining cool northerly or north-easterly winds. Temperatures close to average or just below in the south, below average further north. Rainfall amounts in the south likely to be small however.*

26th June - 30th June: Still unsettled, but becoming warmer in the south with less in the way of cloud, wind and rain. Showers still possible however and cool in the north.

I am sadly still looking at all weather predictions, even tho I said earlier I wouldnt! it becomes all time consuming. The weather Outlook has posted their Glasto weather and it looks OK, a few mm of rain here and there, but overall not too bad, will be hanging onto this one, for today anyway as it will all change again by the morning!! Metcheck still down, probably been blown away by their 289mph wind predictions, does that mean Glastonbury will be in Northumberland this year?

Look folks, we all know that regardless of the weather it's going to be great. So let's all just stay positive until then and not get too wound up by weather predictions eh?

P.S. Yes I do realise the irony that I'm saying this having just looked at the weather thread for the I don't know how many'th time.

Stay positive. We can get through this. Glastonbury will be ace regardless.

The latest model isn't great at all.

BUT

It does seem as though all this greenland hating has served us well because it shows a serious amount of low pressure developing over them replacing the high pressure.

It also shows lots and lots of high pressure just south of us. So with a bit of luck in the next few runs we might see the area of high pressure expanding over the UK or at least the south...

May have just chatted a lot of balls but it sounded good B)
