It will only be the roads and busy junctions that will be muddy I expect. The camp sites and stage fields will still be fine. There's still plenty of time for it to dry out.

Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms Weather God and colleagues,

Could you see it in your gloriously divine heart to accept a plea from little ol' me?

You are such a wondrous and all-powerful being and it would be most benevolent of you and you could make hundreds of thousands of people happy beyond belief.

If it's not rude of me to ask, could you ensure this year's Glastonbury a nice and sunny one with no rain?

I know awesome deities such as yourself do not have to bargain with mere mortals such as myself, but I would even accept a very rainy Glastonbury in 2012*. If this would appease you, I and many, many others would happily agree to this compromise.

Such an astounding and awe-inspiring being such as yourself has the power to make it so, so please...

Yours humbly,

LSP.

*Ssshhh...

Once the rain stops tonight, about 8ish, we are looking at a dry run until Thursday, then the 'odd' shower Thursday & Friday with daytime temps at about 19c, hopefully we will see a bit of a breeze to speed along the drying of those fields.

I am sure that this is just a blip and we will have a cracking sunny festival. :)

I made a deal with God this year, a week ago I said that Cheshire would have all the UK's crap weather IF Sommerset would be perfec for Glasto dates...

Well, so far Cheshire is having crap weather, so we may be alright for Glasto...

Just don't tell God I don't actually believe in him, yeah?

Evening all, I've just had to put the hearting on and it's June FFS!

Anyway, I say we should let the weather gods get this out of their system before pulling themselves together for 22nd to 27th June, NFR NFC

:)
