Could be completely wrong but yeah that’s my predictions
Plenty of times in the past they added good things that would have far too late to have any impact on ticket sales. There was an extra day added last minute at Poble Espanol in 2022 for example. Also plenty of surprise gigs eg Arcade Fire in the round and Secret Primavera. Wasnt any financial incentive for these.
That Helena Hauff set was something else wasn't it.
It's a strange one, you try to think of your favourite Glastonbury moment and then your head gets flooded with random memories and all of a sudden it's a real struggle. So many good times, so many 'moments' that picking one seems impossible.
2010 was my return to the farm having spent a good few years away and walking round Block 9 (Shangri-La?) we entered somewhere to be greeted by Dog Faced Geishas. A true wtf moment but it brought home how bonkers Glastonbury can be and it has stuck in my memory ever since.
Also my first Glasto sunrise at the Stone Circle in the same year. Magical.
Probably next week. The Grammys are this weekend. Its an easy play to announce a tour right after you win or have a commercial during the broadcast. If Beyonce was gonna cancel or postpone all of this I think she would have enough sense to say something at this point. And I dont think anyone would have a problem if the tour sales were for next year either.
