One of the great British blues bands. I first saw them at the Colston Hall in Bristol in 69 when they were supporting The Stones and they blew Mick & Co off the stage.

By chance there was also a cassette (remember those) in my car when I drove home from hospital at 5am after being at the birth of my first daughter in 1982. It had been a long labour but I was so excited that I put on the first bit of music I found and was screaming 'yeehooo!' at the top of my voice as I drove home. So The Groundhogs will forever remind me of when I first became a dad.
