Sorry to dredge this up, even before this thread someone on efestivals started a thread in Jim Jones Revue, last night I saw them for the first time and I they maybe the best act I have ever seen live. Part Cramps, part Clash. Truly fucking amazing. If it was Tony Blair that first introduced the name to my consciousness, I owe you a drink.

I stopped seeing them for a while as I'd been seeing them just about every month for a year or so, then I saw them at Shepherd's Bush not long ago, and they're as fantastic as ever...

as you say Cramps, Clash, throw in a huge chunk of Little Richard with a smidge of MC5...
