AN Israeli driver mows down a Palestinian boy who had been throwing stones at cars - a snap shot of how high tensions are running in the Middle East.

The boy, who looks about ten, bounced off the bonnet of the speeding car after it struck him earlier today.

He was comforted by friends after receiving some nasty cuts in the collision.

The disturbing episode took place in the Silwan area of east Jerusalem.

Palestinian children, including the car crash victim, had earlier been pelting cars with stones in the mostly Arab neighbourhood.

The youngsters were retaliating after Israeli forces killed two Hamas militants in the West Bank city of Hebron.

I like some of those acts. Early Metallica, Maiden had four classic albums, SOAD had some good songs, the first Machine Head is a classic of the genre.
