New Arcadia

Paul tm mentioned a new stage and possible position for arcadia next year over on the T forum.

Didn't want to hijack the thread so brought it over here.

Anybody with experience of the new one?

I really liked arcadia, I loved where it was because you could get caught up in it when you didn't mean to even if it was cramped at times. Also loved the 360 nature of it, which is meant to be going as well, because you could get right into it and part of it.

Anyway, its been a bit quiet of late, so thought I'd at least start something.

yeah i was asking about it, paul said he was goin to ask see if they know whats happening with arcadia next year, the rig at bestival looked mean and awesome!

It was a fantastic idea bringing it to Rockness and it'll be interesting to see what's there next year.

@paultrademark. Yes it'll be there. Bigger lineups as well for it. Moving some bigger djs to there from the arena.

@paultrademark. Same as '10 but bigger area. I'm plotting nesstival a bit differently. When I get rough drawing will send for feedback.

The one in Glastonbury was massive. If RockNess gets that one then they would need to put it somewhere else.

I actually prefered the one at rockness though... It was simpler

Well I stand corrected, I just thought it was a smaller version they took to other fests.

When Zane Lowe went in it, Man it was amazing.

Middle of the day on Sunday, everyone's practically zombies about 10 people there when he starts and within 15 mins there's hundreds and hundreds of people about.

arcadia was top at rockness but i couldn't believe how small it was.

the group forum? it's still there, it's really only used for organising the efest camp and doesn't get many posts after the festival.

You can't join them now anyway, the forum upgrade doesn't support the add-on for them.

Pretty sure Neil will be deleting all the old groups at the end of the year anyway

Quite enjoyed seeing Zane Lowe locked in a cage, should've left him there.

But seriously, he was pretty good. Nothing amazing but he knows how to get a party started.
