Not sure this is 100% but it looks pretty sound, i'd imagine it's going to get announced properly in the next few days or so.

Foo Fighters are set to play a two night residency at the Milton Keynes Bowl on July 2nd and 3rd.

Support will come from Biffy Clyro (both nights), Death Cab For Cutie (July 2nd) and Jimmy Eat World (July 3rd).

So does this make the Foos more likely, less likely for Reading and Leeds? I think it could easily go both ways, and as shown with this year, neither of the rock acts with massive shows that summer (Muse and Green Day) played R&L, so who knows.

Regardless of the Foos though, I think it definitely makes Jimmy Eat World and Death Cab for Cutie more likely, which can't be a bad thing!

In the interview Dave said something along the lines of "in 2011 your not going to be able to get us out of your hair"

That probably means there going to be playing a lot of gigs. But the way R&L are with there exclusives (english and uk) I reckon that could go against them playing. However Dave Grohl loves R&L and R&L love dave Grohl so I could imagine that they would probably make an exception with a band that big.

I can see them doing TITP, Download(or R&L), Oxygen and Isle of Whight.

I can't see them doing anything but headline so Glastonbury is out of the question, unless last weeks sun 'leak' of Prince U2 & Coldplay was wrong.

I think because they are such a big band with a massive following all of those festivals and the two Milton Keynes shows will sell out.

With this news I reckon R & L next year could look something like this:

Friday

Linkin Park

Soundgarden / Jay Z(couldn't really think of anyone else)

The Offspring

NME

Brandon Flowers

Saturday

The White Stripes/Kasabian

Kasabian / Manic Street Preachers

Florence & the machine / Doves

NME

Soundgarden/Stone Sour(May be a bit High)

Sunday

Green Day/ Foo Fighters

My Chemical Romance

30 Seconds to Mars

NME

Plan B
