eFestivals
The old reggae stars are popping their clogs one by one .... Sugar Minott earlier this year, and now Gregory Isaacs. ( I'm off to play 'Night Nurse' at full volume, followed by Beautiful Africa.
The Nal
Don’t know too much of his stuff apart from the odd song on a couple of Trojan box sets. Where would you recommend to start Neil? Night Nurse seems to be a fave with the filthy press. Edited October 25, 2010 by The Nal
eFestivals
the easy option is always to start with a 'best of', and then find the era you like of that act from the songs you like on that best of.

eFestivals
So do you take the Alan Partridge approach then? it's too hit & miss any other way. I've bought some great stuff over the years by buying stuff I've not known, but I've also bought some right shit too. Isaacs has around 30 years of recordings, and the style varies a fair bit within it. It comes down to your tastes for what you'd prefer within that.
