They have a Jack Daniels Bar near the main stage and a few red bull ones darted about! They would be pretty easy to spot.

What time is everyone arriving for camping on the Thursday? It says it opens at 2.30pm but I'm wondering about queues and such!

You will probably find a truck load of people who speak English I kept bumping into lots of Americans at Rock Im Park!

Prepare for all weather! Looking at the 14 day forecast the weather doesnt look promising however you can't really judge this far ahead!

After seeing pictures online of previous years at hurricane i'm definitely brining some welly boots and a raincoat!

I've only ever been to festivals closer to the south of Germany by the looks of things in the North the weather looks similar to the UK unfortunately :(

Is anyone else worried about the festival being smack bang in the middle of the E Coli affected zone? They use hard plastic reusable cups for beer in Germany, i'm worrying they wont wash them properly!!

Don't worry about EHEC too much, it seems that the number of newly affected people is shrinking, and that not many young people were affected. To be sure stay away from uncooked vegetables and wash your hands after using the bathrooms.

As for the meeting, most Germans just meet on the camping, as that is much cheaper than going into the stage area early on (1€ a liter of beer for example, even if you don't go to the supermarket in Scheeßel). I'd be in either way if you like to have a local there as well, maybe exchanging phone numbers via PN makes sense?

From last year, so the camping situation changed a bit, but Scheeßel is still the same.

Argh dammit, the one from 09 had the supermarkets and everything in scheeßel in it as well, can't find a link. But yeah, there are a few supermarkets, it's like 2km walking.

Been too RaR about 6 times now so heading to Hurricane for a wee change. Just one quick question, every year at RaR we stop and get a few litre bottles of Jager (Its Germany and its tradition by this point) but it says on the site that Security check your bags for Glass bottles before you enter the campsite, any truth in this? Jager out of a plastic bottle isn't going to be too pleasant.

Anyone else flying from Dublin on Thursday morning with Aer Lingus?

**Oh aye and I'm not a newbie, just cant remember my old username and password!

Yeah. Nutella is basically the only thing in glass bottles they allow to the camping, pßouring liquor into plastic makes lots of sense. There are worse things than Jäger in a plastic bottle imo, however (like warm Jäger).

I prefer warm Buckfast personally. Warm Jaeger goes much more sticky. If you put your drink under your tent it should stay cooler

/hot tip

I'm leaving this afternoon! Heading to Amsterdam first ;-)

I'm going to make an executive decision and propose a meeting place of 6pm on Friday (appears to be a bit of a gap there other than Chaoze who no one has mentioned. This may stretch to 10 past depending on the length of Kverlertak's set. I'm watching them and know a few others are too. So don't worry if there's no one there at 6 dot on) at the Converse stall in the main arena (which is on the map). I shall wear my best pink and purple tie die top. I'm 6'4 and big all round. Difficult to miss
